About this blog

  • This past summer I was a presenter at the "Strategies for Student Success" 2006 ODE Summer Institute. more

The ODE has asked me back to facilitate the February Followup. It will be held on February 22, 2007 at the Portland Convention Center.

We're focusing on 21st century student/classroom and we'll try to model the new information environment in this workshop.

I invite you to read and post comments on the workshop's essential questions. Simply click on the comments link to read a comment, or add your name / email and type in a comment.

Bring your WiFi-enabled laptops to the session and your school team can add new comments and read other team's posts during the workshop.

At the workshop we will use an audience response system by TurningPoint. Each of you will have your own responder and we will gather feedback and generate data during the course of the day.

My goal is to design a workshop that will rigorous and relevant. One with plenty of opportunities for team discussion and individual reflection. The rest will be up to you!
